The City of Ashland is currently accepting applications for Certified and/or Non-Certified Police Officer Candidates ($10.36-$14.33/Hour). The ranges shown indicate starting pay, dependent on qualifications. All applicants must be 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. All non-certified applicants must be able to pass a physical agility test, and will be required to attend and pass a twelve (12) week Police academy school. Blue Cross and Blue Shield medical insurance, vacation, sick leave and holidays are considered as benefits. Participation in the Retirement Systems of Alabama is mandatory. The City of Ashland is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time Parks and Recreation Director ($17.38-$22.67). Starting pay dependent on experience and qualifications (experience preferred).
